Aftercare

Points to remember:

Remember; Once you leave the shop, the care of the tattoo is your responsibility!
At some point the tattoo will start to peel and look funky. This is normal.
Keep your tattoo out of water! NO TUBS, HOT-TUBS or SWIMMING.
Keep the sun off your tattoo. Keep it covered until well healed. Then use sunblock, preferably SPF 20,000!
Wear clean loose clothing over the tattoo. It needs air. Be mindful of tight waistbands, tight socks, bra straps, tight shoes which may chafe the tattoo.
Completely avoid picking and scratching. Let scabs and dry skin fall off naturally.
Stay away from Neosporine, Vaseline, products with Aloe Vera and/or any other product not listed on this sheet.
Follow the instructions on this sheet, not what your friend, coworker or cousin tells you!
